Nabdat: First Arabic Mobile App to Measure Heart Rate accurately Nabdat, an application developed by Startappz, an arm of National Net Ventures (N2V), is the first medical application of its kind to be released targeting the Arabic users of the Middle East Nabdat uses a technology that enables the iPhone’s camera to work as a pulse Oximeter and reports accurate heart beat rate results in a matter of seconds.
Nabdat is a free application aiming to help individuals get fit, and stay healthy, by providing them with an easy and simple way to monitor their resting heart beat, and further read on the effects and implications of a certain heart beat rate, other applications with the same mission include Easy Med Monitor, Pregrancy “ آنا و طفلي ”, and Diabetes Test.
Nabdat works by covering your iPhone’s camera with your fingertip for 30 seconds, then instantly knowing your heart beat rate in BPM (Beat Per Minute). Nabdat is currently available for free on the iTunes store in Arabic and English and will be released on the Google
Play store in the coming months.
